"alright kid, time to go," Cain said as he watched Polar drill the tree into the ground.
"okay, so what we riding? a plane? a helicopter?" Polar curiously asked.
"No, try a big boat carrier." replied Cain.
"okay, we'll lead the way bud," Polar said with a grin.
"kid, i'm not your buddy, and dont call me one again.." Cain sternly corrected.
" then dont be callin me no kid. I'm probably as old as you are," Polar threw back.
" HA! as old as i am huh? how old are ya kid? early twenties'?" Cain laughed.
" nooo... matter of fact i'm fourty. the little healing thing i have keeps me from aging like normal people and mutants, unfortunately that's all it does. I wish it would heal cuts and such, then i wouldnt have to keep buying first aid stuff." explained Polar.
" hmm..... that's interesting, well kid your still younger than me, and even if you wasnt i'd still call you kid." cain joked. With that comment they laughed and Polar started to follow Juggernaut to a freight carrier.
After three days of thier ocean voyage, Polar starts to get curious about where they were going, So he ask's cain, " Hey juggs, where you taking me anyways?" with a sharp look Cain replies as he leans back up against a storage unit. " canada is where we're setting out at. From there i dont know." Polar then heard a small snoring sound comming from Cain, and realized he'd gone to sleep.
The afternoon of the fourth day, they came to port. As Polar looked around he couldn't believe what his eyes was seeing. The trees were huge and green, the docks were filled with hundreds of people, there were buildings that were bigger than the Inn from the village, and lastly a strange metal box that was moving on four wheels with no horse or mule pulling it. At the look on Polars face Cain laughed and says " Welcome to the future." As for the rest of the day they got set up in something Cain called a hotel. "eat kid, and get some sleep we'll be leaving in the morning."
Following Cains advice Polar found food in a place called a grociery store, that he paid for with the little dollars he'd had left from home. As he laid on a soft white bed, he closed his eyes to all kinds of sounds from outside.

I cant wait to read more
Cain remineds me of a politician. He flip-flops on a regular basis. One minute he wants to kill me, then he's my ally, then he joins Magneto's Brotherhood, then he's an X-Man. Just keep an eye on your waller, that's all I'm saying.
With that Chaz, i agree, however Cain is known to keep close long term friends, like black tom.
And I also can't wait to learn more of polars history and future, its always interesting to witness somebody experiencing our technicle civilization, That is odd he knew what a plane and helicopter was but not a car. but i guess you'd see more flight transportation than wheeled in da artic.
